Asian inspired low carb meals, What I eat in a day
I love me some Asian cuisine! And thanks to my sister I’ve been enjoying it more and more. Especially Korean Banchans, they’ve stolen my heart. Banchans are basically small meals which you can combine to create one big meal. I really love this concept because it allows you to experience different flavors and textures in one meal. Having a small number of different dishes is like a dream to me! Therefor I’m sharing some of my favorite Asian inspired low carb meals, which I use for my low carb and Keto diet.
Being part Asian myself, I’ve learned to discover the different Asian cuisines. I found out that the Japanese and Korean kitchen have a lot of low carb dishes. Depending on how you portion your low carb meals, Asians have many healthy dishes you can use. I also like how I can easily meal prep different vegetables and marinades. It helps me to put something healthy, yet tasty on the table without too much work. For example, I’ve been keeping homemade Teriyaki sauce in the fridge for salmon and chicken.
It’s perfect for whipping up a quick Teriyaki dish. All I have to do is add some Korean vegetable Banchans and I’m ready to go! I really hope the meals in my new low carb meals video help you to expand your horizon. I personally think most low carb and keto recipes on the internet are a bit boring. There’s often a lack of variety, seasoning and spice. I personally love food with lots of flavor and the Asian’s got that skill down. Aaah, I’m getting hungry just by writing this article, haha!

I’m currently in the process of getting back into strict Keto. Which means I start lowering my carb intake slowly, so my body and my brain can easily adjust. That’s why my carb intake has been under 75 grams per day this while week. My lowest count was 50 grams of carbs, which is technically Keto. So I’m on the right path to lowering my carb intake to 30 grams per day, which is my sweet spot on the Keto diet.
