Yes, it’s true. When I feel bad, sad or mad I find it hard to keep my house in order. I can experience what people call a mental roadblock. It doesn’t last too long, but long enough for some clutter to accumulate around the house. When it starts to bother me, I dive in and clean it up. And when I start cleaning, I start cleaning, haha! I thought it would be a good idea to film a part of this process, because other people’s cleaning videos always inspire me. My video is about cleaning and organizing my walk in closet.
Hopefully my video inspires you to also clean up, as it’s not just good for your house but also for your soul. I’m showing you exactly where you can start in this video. I like to break up the cleaning process is smaller steps. That way it feels less overwhelming, which it certainly can be when you haven’t cleaned in a while. Cleaning and organizing my walk in closet is also important because I have to start curating my winter capsule wardrobe. I still haven’t done that because I keep running into that mental roadblock and the clutter in the closet.

I decided to start with my clothes, shoes and my daily make-up. These three components make up 75% of my walk in closet. So tackling this triple thread helped me get ahead big time! It also relaxes me to know I don’t have to finish the entire walk in closet in one day. Small steps are everything to me, as they form one big step when you put them all together. You basically get the same results with less stress. I hope you’re ready to enjoy this new video. Let’s face the mental roadblocks for cleaning together and create beautiful closets we actually want to look at.
Ready, steady, clean!
