Green sweater outfit

I love sweater weather, but it came too soon this year. It’s still summer and I’m already rocking this green sweater outfit. I love this sweater though. The dark green color is very easy on the eyes. It’s also a bit cropped compared to a normal sweater, which makes it less slumpy. A very good thing for a short woman like me. I also like that it isn’t too boxy either, because some sweaters can be a bit too bulky on me when they have that cut. I guess I just really like this beautiful green sweater by Weekday. This store never disappoints me when it comes to sweaters and hoodies.

I decided to pair the green sweater with black jeans and pumps. I like how a pair of heels elevates the outfit just a little bit. It gives me the cozy sweater vibe, but I can still wear this to work at the office. Probably because this outfit is really, really simple. I’ve noticed that lately, I have been opting for simple outfits with one eye catching item. I’m also wearing more jewelry, now that I’ve found some really good minimalistic jewelry brands. I think the little touches provided by the right pieces of jewelry, can really make an outfit work.

And since I’ve been trying to work with a capsule wardrobe, I’ve managed to use more small details like jewelry. Having a smaller amount of clothes to choose from has made me more creative. And although this green sweater outfit isn’t my most amazing one, I think it’s perfect for a normal day. Between all the high fashion outfits we constantly see online, I sometimes just prefer the simpler ones. Like this very minimalistic outfit with one of my favorite sweaters, jeans and heels.
