I used to wear a black t-shirt and jeans all the time. I would complete the outfit with a black cardigan and high heels. Boring? Uhm, definitely! It took me a really long time to break up with that uniform, it’s so easy to wear. But as I’ve improved as a person, my personality has become happier and relaxed. Therefor an all-black uniform doesn’t suit me now. Well, let’s just say it’s not my daily outfit anymore. I’ve learned to embrace clothing in different styles, colors and vibes. Different outfits me show the world who I am, what I feel and where I want to go. So here’s one of these outfits with a leopard print blouse.

I bought this leopard print blouse at H&M. It’s one of the few stores that sells blouses my boobs actually fit in to. For me it’s really annoying to buy blouses, because they rarely fit me. Also, blouses aren’t really my thing. But this one has a dark brown color which makes it look quite chic. The leopard print makes it playful and fun to wear. It’s definitely a first for me, I’d never thought you’d see me in a leopard blouse. I always thought it would look a bit cheap on me, or even trashy. Turns out, it’s all about styling it the right way. Duh…

In this case I decided to try different ways to style this blouse. It’s really, really long so I can wear it over the butt if I want to. I personally like it better tied up on a pair of high waisted skinny jeans. I added my new overknee boots to create an edgier look. The Zara belt I chose to wear has a really nice gold buckle. This breaks the outfit up in the waist which makes my figure come out much better. And I never say no to a better-looking figure. The only thing I forgot was gold jewelry to match the belt. A classic Kaya mistake to make.

As mentioned, this blouse is pretty long. When I leave it just the way it is, it looks a bit too long and frumpy in my opinion. I have to figure out how to wear it on a pair of leggings with a waist belt, that might look better. I also started wearing this blouse with a few buttons unbuttoned, which looks way more relaxed. I can’t wait to style this blouse with other bottoms, I would love to try (faux) leather or black waxed pants. I think that would look awesome! What do you think?
Let me know what you think of this outfit with the leopard print blouse, hit or shit?
