It’s a great day to work out! Therefore I’m sharing my 45 minute home workout. I used this one to keep myself active during the quarantine this week. As all the gyms are closed and I have a blister on my heel from a run, I couldn’t go for another run yet. However, I didn’t want to mess up my new workout schedule, so this home workout was the next best thing. It’s a pretty easy workout, but it will definitely let your muscles work. I have aching muscles as we speak, just the way I like it!
I created this 45 minute workout to help me work on my goals which are leaning out my body, increasing flexibility and weight loss. I also work on my laptop all day, so I did a good amount of stretching to make sure my back stays flexible. You can modify this workout to your liking. Add more or less weight, incorporate more resistance bands, add more reps or sets. Whatever you decide to do, I hope my new home workout helps you to stay motivated regardless. Just make sure you also hydrate enough during this workout.
For the people asking me what gear I use for this 45 minute home workout, this is it: I use 1 kilo dumbbells, although I wish I had heavier ones. If you have a kettlebell, that would also be a great option. I used these resistance bands, but any type of bands will do. I also use ankle weights to make the leg exercises I do a more effective. I’m used to putting a fair amount of weight on my legs during my workouts in the gym. I don’t have that much weight at home, so these ankle weights are very welcome.
