Aaah yes, it’s time for a summer fashion haul (check the video here). And I can’t wait to show you the amazing clothes I bought to add to my summer capsule wardrobe. I have a really good theme in mind that matches the way I’m currently feeling. It also helps me fill in the gaps that I still have in my summer capsule wardrobe. Before I started shopping, I didn’t have a lot of dresses I can actually wear. A lot of them are not the right size, in a bad state or simply not my style anymore. I really needed to complete my capsule wardrobe with the right items.
That’s why you will see a new style this summer fashion haul. I decided to invest in colorful clothes that I can easily match with neutral pieces. That way I can constantly reuse all of my clothes within my capsule wardrobes for different occasions and seasons. Most of the clothes I bought have a neutral base color like beige, a dusty pink tint or white. I also opted for one black dress, because I can’t live without black clothes. The fun thing about developing my capsule wardrobes is that I can tell my style is improving.
Pretty much everything in my general wardrobe is now truly me. I really try to make sure that I only shop once each season, and that what I buy fits my style and lifestyle. I think I’m doing pretty well! The only season I have to tackle right now is my summer capsule wardrobe, so I’m very happy I was able to find pieces that help me do that. I also made a list of items I bought. That way you easily find and buy the pieces that you like. Just make sure they really fit your signature style and daily life, so that your clothes don’t end up in the not-really-wearing-this-pile.
