Yup, it’s official: I’m a crazy plant lady now! Well, I’m not really that crazy but I did buy a lot of plants. That’s why I’m sharing my first plant unboxing video, whoohoo! Because I ran into a really good deal online and I just had to get it. So here’s the deal: Pay €19,50 plus €5,36 for shipping costs for at least eight to twelve plants. I received eleven plants, so that comes down to €2,26 per plant. That’s a really, really good deal if you ask me.
But there’s a catch. These plants are very cheap because they’re b-grade plants. Which means they’re not as pretty as the plants you’d buy at a garden center. You also don’t get to pick the plants yourself and it’s a surprise what will be in the box. I personally don’t mind, because the idea behind it is actually pretty great. These b-grade plants might not get sold since they’re not ‘perfect.’
That means a lot of them get thrown away which is a shame, to be honest. Buying one of these boxes is not just smart shopping, you’re saving plants. It’s a human thing to want plants to look a certain way, instead of just enjoying the way they want to grow. I personally don’t mind not having ‘perfect’ plants, because I appreciate their beauty and vibe nonetheless. Which is all I want from plants, they make me feel better in my own house.
In my first plant unboxing you will find eleven plants in different shapes and sizes. Some are new to me, because I’m not a plant expert in any way. However, I can’t wait to give them great spots in my house. They’re now chilling on my living room floor so they can adjust to the ambiance in my house. Now that I’ve filmed them for my plant unboxing, I can also do some research on them. Aaah, I love my new plants so much!
