Hey girl, can we talk hair goals? Because I have one, which is growing my hair down to my butt. No wait, just above the top of my pants I should say. I don’t think I would like my hair to reach my butt or below for obvious reasons. In order to do this I like to take care of my hair really well. Recently I have been using a hair mask (among other products) to do this. It’s the Coconut Milk & Macadamia hair mask by Garnier. This hair mask is part of their Loving Blends collection and I bought my first tub a few months ago.
To be honest I bought it because it was on sale, haha! But what can go wrong with a hair mask, right!? Well, not much according to my experience. I love using hair masks instead of conditioners because they often work much better. The Coconut Milk & Macadamia hair mask by Garnier got my attention because it’s supposed to contain coconut oil. We all know that’s the good stuff and it can truly revive your hair. The coconut and macadamia oils are sixth and seventh place on the ingredient list. That really surprised me!
Most brands use promising ingredients to promote their products, but often end up putting the smallest amount in the actual product. I guess Garnier has stepped up the game by putting a ‘reasonable’ amount of the oils in this hair mask. I’m saying this because in most cases, when an ingredient is listed high on the ingredients list, there’s a lot of the ingredient in the product. So, yay for Garnier if that is the case with this Coconut Milk & Macadamia hair mask. Now let’s talk about the hair mask and why I like it so much.
It’s often on sale, so I try to get it with those 2 for 1 deals as much as possible. I mean, why pay more if you can pay less? I also have pretty long hair which makes taking care of it a bit more expensive than usual. The fragrance isn’t overly sweet or too synthetic in my opinion. I like that this hair mask has multiples ways to use it. You can use it as a regular hair mask, leave it in for three minutes and wash it out. You can also leave it in on wet and dry hair. The best thing is that this hair mask does not leave my hair greasy.
Which is what Garnier promises and it’s actually true for my hair. I like using it as a hair mask and wash it out as much as possible. I’ve been experimenting with leaving it in a little bit, so my hair can benefit from this hair mask a little longer. Then I dry and flat iron my hair as usual. The Coconut Milk & Macadamia hair mask by Garnier makes my hair very soft and easy to manage. The ends of my hair could use a cut and they’re a little dry, which makes my hair tangle up faster than usual. The hair mask makes the ends a little less dry, awesome!
According to Garnier this hair mask doesn’t have any parabens either. Which is awesome because I’m allergic to most cosmetic parabens. I’m really impressed by this drugstore hair mask because my scalp loves it too. My roots do not get greasy, and my hair looks and feels better too. I’ve been using a shampoo prescribed by me dermatologist for dandruff, which makes my hair very coarse if I don’t use any conditioner or hair mask. After using the dandruff shampoo, I like using the hair mask by Garnier because it really does make my somewhat dry hair soft and manageable.
Would I buy this hair mask again? Yes, I already did!
