Yeah, how do you deal with the Coronavirus as an entrepreneur? I don’t think anyone has the complete or right answer at this moment, this is all new to all of us. But I do always have some kind of plan in place, especially now that I’ve hired a new colleague for Bloggers and Brands. I now also have to take care of that person and their safety. So in this Office Adventure episode I’m sharing what I’ve been up to for the business and how I deal with all of it. It’s actually been very fun, although I now definitely can use a vacay, haha!
When I filmed this video, it was a different situation though. The Coronavirus had not yet put the Netherlands on lockdown, that happened a day after I filmed the video. The current situation is that everyone is asked to work from home as much as possible. If you feel sick for over two weeks with fever and long/breathing problems, contact your doctor. I send out an email to all of my agency clients with the explanation that this virus does not affect our work. And that we take care of our clients and employees by following government orders. We work online most of the time, so we can keep on going unless the internet decides to break. We also shared this info on our blog and social media accounts.

I personally and as a business owner believe in staying realistic and looking at the facts. No one I know is sick, neither are my clients and employees. We keep working on good results and focus on the positive things in life. This virus is not the end of the world, it’s just another big ass bump in the road. With this I’m not saying I’m not taking it seriously, I definitely am. On my end I always try to keep things cool and relaxed. I don’t believe in creating mass hysteria for no reason, so I do my part in keeping it real. That’s how I deal with the Coronavirus as an entrepreneur.
I’ve also had some really important things to take care of for the business. That doesn’t stop and in my new video I’m showing it all. I’m dealing with contracts, client gifs and a lawyer that was a bit slower than I’m used to and agreed on. But in the end, I made it all work! I also hired a new employee as mentioned before and this person starts Monday. I can’t wait for the very needed help this will provide me. I will be able to pick up things that I’ve had to neglect due to limited time, but now I can be on top of my game again.
I can’t wait to share all of this with you. Check the video right diddy,
Kaya-Quintana
P.S. If you are Dutch and you want to know what to do about the Coronavirus, please follow government policy.
